Number 1 in Wiltshire - 2011

We were officially ranked as the No.1 golf course in Wiltshire and placed in the elite category of leading golf destinations by the Top 100 Golf Courses website. The established website rated our Wiltshire layout as the most complete resort amongst the many it surveys each year.

What makes the Top 100 Golf Courses website so authoritative is that its judgements are based on the personal experiences of knowledgeable club golfers who are passionate about the game of golf including PGA professionals, county players and sports journalists from the region.

'Top 50 Stay & Play' Venues - 2011

We were voted one of the Top 50 “Stay and Play Venues” in the UK by Golf Monthly magazine, the most authoritative and definitive guide to first class golf in Britain. Our 48 room, Michelin star hotel and golf club was voted 31st in the UK by senior editorial staff at Golf Monthly and a group of well travelled golf writers and was one of only two Wiltshire Clubs to feature in the prestigious rankings.

Golf Monthly which celebrates its centenary this year started out the evaluation process with more than 100 venues to assess before whittling the list of candidates down to 75 and then to the final and finest Top 50 venues in the UK.
